Montessori Enrolments for Ages 2–6 in North Shore, Auckland
Koru Montessori welcomes children into our calm, engaging Montessori learning environment in Sunnynook, on Auckland’s North Shore. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, from January to December (closed for approximately two weeks over Christmas).
How to Enrol
Our enrolment process is simple and family-friendly:
Complete the enrolment form and return it with the $65 non-refundable enrolment fee. This secures your child’s place on the waitlist.
Visit our preschool. If you haven’t already toured Koru Montessori, we’ll invite you to come meet our teachers and see our classroom in action.
Confirm your child’s start date. Once a space is available, we’ll contact you to confirm your child’s timetable and start date.

Attendance Options
We offer flexible attendance options to meet the needs of busy families.
For 2-year-olds:
Mornings: 8:30am – 1:00pm
Afternoons: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
Full day: 8:30am – 3:30pm
For children 3–6 years:
3, 4, or 5 full days: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Afternoon sessions: 12:45pm – 3:30pm (conditions apply; limited spaces)
Fees & Funding Information
Fees are paid fortnightly in advance by automatic payment.
20 Hours ECE funding is available for children aged 3–5 years (with completed Attestation Form).
Work and Income (WINZ) subsidies are accepted.
Attendance fees are reviewed annually.
Fees are charged for statutory holidays, school holidays, and sick days.
Families receive 2 weeks fee-free holiday per calendar year (conditions apply).
A minimum attendance requirement applies for children over 3 years.
Four weeks' written notice is required to withdraw your child from enrolment.
Changes to your child’s attendance must be submitted in writing or via our change form.
Fees range from approximately $30 – $66 per day, depending on your child’s age, attendance pattern, and eligibility for 20 Hours ECE funding. Please submit your enquiry for more information.
Scholarships
We offer a limited number of scholarships each year to support whānau who may need assistance in accessing a Montessori education for their child.

Food at Koru
We provide nutritious morning and afternoon tea. Children attending morning or full-day sessions must bring a packed lunchbox. We cater to food allergies and follow a Healthy Food Policy.
